Just over 150 km2 in size, the Greek island of Milos is home to charming towns, pleasant countryside, and stunning scenery. The island is located in the Cyclades’ southwest region. PARAFRAGAS

The sole access to the sea at Papafragas, which is 10 kilometers east of Plaka, is by a natural sea arch. The island has a little sand beach that is surrounded by steep rocky walls. The crystal-clear turquoise water offers the opportunity to swim in sea caves and rocky fissures.

It’s a stunning, undeveloped region of the island with amazing clifftop views of the surrounding waters. Because there are no restrooms and a difficult walk, small children should stay away from the cove.

KLEFTIKO

As you explore the breathtaking white cliffs of Milos Island, Kleftiko won’t let you down. Every day, ships leave from Adamas to take tourists snorkeling or scuba diving in the green waters of this spectacular port. It’s more of a location to take in the breathtaking natural splendor while swimming in some of Greece’s cleanest sea caves. PALEOCHORI

One of the most well-known beaches is Paleochori, which is 10 kilometers from Adamas.  There is a sandy beach with unusual pebbles, sun loungers, a café, a restaurant, and a variety of water sports. FIROPOTAMOS

The beach at Firopotamos in the northern portion of the island is surrounded by the village of Firopotamos, a lovely town of blue and white fisherman’s houses. You may drive or walk to the small pebble beach, which is ideal for families. You’ll need to carry your own drinks and food if you plan to spend the day there because it is not organized and lacks amenities like restaurants. It’s a wonderful beach for sunbathing and swimming in the clear waters.

AGIA KYRIAKI

Agia Kyriaki is located in the southern region of the island, 14 kilometers from Plaka. The beach features beautiful sand, stones, and a café that serves wonderful Greek cuisine. The steep, rocky cliffs that surround the scene give this beach an air of solitude. It is a stunning location, made even more so by the emerald, clear water that surrounds it.It has various trees that provide shade. A fantastic family beach!
